Had the same issue on the leg with my first one. Just kept popping off. In addition, the black plastic on the one hand was rugged, felt like some chemical stain that caused damaged surface. And that red plane on the chest kept popping off. Good thing my seller replaced the whole figure with a new one. A solid one indeed and no more issues. Been very happy and try different poses on it ever since 😊

Rescue bots is overrated, this toy at least has a more involved transformation instead of just a one step, and it actually has articulation.

There is an official transformers bug combiner called BW2 tripredicus, and it looked way better than magnaboss. They never made an insecticon combiner tho.

I went to a Japanese store in MOA called ebisu and I saw this combiner in their poster but they don’t actually have it in stock, which is a shame because I would wanna buy it out of curiosity because I’m obsessed with transforming robots.

I would like to make a LEGO transformer like this but actually give him articulation. However, due to how actual LEGO tracks work, they would not be able to fold down. I could either use the actual LEGO tracks or just use the LEGO roller coaster tracks. Maybe I would name him “Station guardian”

Must be a random QC issue. The leg parts on mine are pretty solid and never come unclipped when I bend the knees. And the knees are fairly tight on mine, too.

Ah yes, the Martial Arts Robos. Before Takara had pretenders, Bandai had these guys! It's funny how us "stupid Americans" call out Gobots for being a rip-off, when in actuality, it was the other way around with Takara.

I kind of want this, but every reviewer on here seems to have the legs constantly popping out of the waist, so I think I might pass.

I received this from BBTS last week. Everything was fine until i noticed his left arm kept falling off when i would try to move it. So after contacting BBTS and sending them a video they did an exchange. Waiting to receive replacement. Hoping i have no issues with the new one.

I like the black series version. It's cool. We forget how shit figures were not that long ago. Face off luke looks like a pervert. Ill fitting permanent shirt. Fiddly, squeaking joints. I think he's a let down. I love the battle damaged vader though.

I had all the same problems.

I honestly thought this was going to be a piece of crap when you were going through the parts but the swerve ending with the QC reversal was absolutely spectacular. Best of luck with the new hip! Take in this figure to show them what you don't want to make sure you don't get a rubbish one.

Thanks for this review, as I was considering whether I should get this or not to complement my Super Minipla Lion Force Voltron. I won't lie, after your review, I have some reservations, but I'll keep thinking about it. I hope the surgery goes well and that you're healthy enough to lay all that Dairugger content on us sooner rather than later.
